Blue Lace Agate: The Stone of Calm Communication
Soft, soothing, and beautifully patterned like gentle waves or wisps of cloud, Blue Lace Agate is a crystal cherished for its calming presence and nurturing energy. Known as a stone of peace and communication, it carries a quiet strength that supports emotional balance, self-expression, and inner harmony.
Where Blue Lace Agate Is Found
Blue Lace Agate is most famously sourced from Namibia, where some of the finest specimens in the world are found. Smaller deposits have also been discovered in South Africa, as well as parts of Brazil and India. The Namibian variety is especially prized for its pale sky-blue tones and delicate lace-like banding.
When It Was First Found
Agates have been used by humans for thousands of years, dating back to ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt. Blue Lace Agate itself became more widely known and valued in the 20th century, particularly after higher-quality deposits were identified in Namibia. Since then, it has become a favourite in both jewellery and energy healing for its gentle yet powerful vibration.
